Home on the Range by Ruth Logan Herne

Home on the Range by Ruth Logan Herne was provided to me free by Blogging for Books in exchange for an honest review.
It's not often that I rate a book at the equivalent of two stars and it would have to be terrible with poor grammar to get one star. So I surprised myself by being unwilling to give Home on the Range by Ruth Logan Herne anything better than a "don't waste your time". This book was slow and uninteresting from the start. I had to actually force myself to finish it. I felt like the parts that were interesting were all things I've read in other books. About the only good thing about this book is the lead character being a single dad. But as the book tried to map out his struggles as a parent it all just fell flat. The struggles didn't feel real at all.
So I'm sad to say that I see no real redeeming qualities in this book at all.
